RIO DE JANEIRO

Getting to know the Marvelous City is already an unforgettable experience, now imagine being able to get to know it from another perspective – from above! My dream came into reality by taking a helicopter ride over the capital of Rio de Janeiro. Unique opportunity to enjoy the main natural scenarios and the most famous tourist attractions such as Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, Maracanã, the most famous beaches on the planet, and much more.

And what was my impression? In fact, the city of Rio de Janeiro deserves the status it has. Why? This is an answer that a few people provide, but the truth is that the city has a unique nature. It is surrounded by a series of hills, many of them composed of rock formations that arise from the sea or that are on the slopes of the city and give a unique characteristic to the place in the middle of the city. This is the case of Sugar Loaf Mountain and Corcovado Hill. They are really beautiful and form incredible landscapes by being on them or looking at them from afar.

Favelas can be seen in tourist attractions and are completely identified in Rio de Janeiro, which shows that Rio de Janeiro is a city for the rich, but also for the poor. Furthermore, the city is blessed by Christ the Redeemer that welcomes tourists with open arms the whole year. I swear I thought the Christ the Redeemer statue was bigger when seen from afar. It looked so small and only showed its size even when I was there visiting the monument.
